Actually I'm doing backups so I can move data from one phone to another. That's really turning into a pain, too...

As a good Chief, I delegate as much as possible. So while I'm making backups at the computer (which isn't going well... Ginny is rebelling), my trusty subordinates are glued to the porch waiting in my stead.

Yep... Angel, Isabella and Lucy the Dust Mop are instructed to bark incessantly if anything remotely resembling a truck pulls into our driveway ;)

Considering rooting, but will roll with LG's skin for a bit (did get an update when I first turned it on). So far, I love it! Only had for the afternoon so can't elaborate much. Decided a Note 3 would be just too big for me. This seems to be about perfect and really not much bigger than my S3.

FYI: you can turn off QSlide by adding QSlide in the toggles, toggling it off and then removing the QSlide toggle from the toggles.

I'd recommend root only for the ReplaceMenuWithRecents and Overflow Menu mods.

It's super easy - let us know if you need help.

Transparent Nav Bar is only supported in the original LG Launcher.

There's another mod for a flat black nav bar like we had on the GNex too ;)
 
Hmmm, really want to run Nova. :o
Other issue is it doesn't work with "knock off". I've set up a double tap to launch the camera as I've always done. Will have to get used to these back buttons.

Hey guys, long time no chat.

Hey BB! Great seeing you. Looking sexy as always!

So get this: I pre-ordered the Note 3. Then canceled because I realized I didn't want white. Then ordered in black. Then canceled because I wanted to buy it in the store. Then ordered again when the "Glitch" was on. Then canceled because I didn't trust it. Then re-ordered it again when I realized that they were honoring glitch orders. Then canceled when I realized they probably wouldn't honor mine since I had canceled then re-ordered. Then ordered it again at full retail. Then I was going to cancel it last Monday night because I had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't ship until the 10th and then I'd have to wait til the 12th to get it, while all the stores would have it on the 10th bright and early. But before I canceled, VZ charged me and began shipping process. Okay, fine.

But the problem now is, I took off work Thursday morning (for an "appointment" and I won't be back til noon) in order to go to Verizon and buy the beast, but now I have nowhere to go except whatever I do, I will know that my Note 3 is sitting on my desk at work waiting for me, with me nowhere nearby!!! The FedEx guy always comes early to the office, too.

I'm seriously thinking of just going to a movie to get my mind off of it that morning.
