You could always see Gravity in 2D, and is it Matinee? Just giving you some more options to help you.:D
 
Is the stock charger for the G2 larger, as in amperage? I'm using my old Samsung one just cause it's already plugged in, and it tells me that it's "Slow charging".

I would recommend to always use the original cables that came with your device. ;)

Congrats on the new G2. The stock charger is USB3, and will charge your device much faster. Yes, much higher amperage. Dead to full charge in a little over an hour.:D

Older cables will give you the slow charge warning, but the current is just as if you were charging any older device. It should say normal charging, vs fast charging. Then nobody would question it. But when it says slow charging, people tend to think its slower than older devices or something's wrong.
 
Good morning everyone.

On a sour note: FedEx STILL has not delivered my Note 3 to me. I'm more than a little piffed at them for taking two full days to do that when I could have gone and gotten it yesterday by driving 5 hours to Memphis. So here I sit, spending all the time I had dedicated for playing with my new toy WAITING for it to show up! :mad:

On a great note: we watched part of The Wizard of Oz in Blu-Ray 3D last night and it is stunning. What they did with that movie is nothing short of wondrous! It's clean, it's colorful (well, the colorful parts are), the sound is magnificent and the 3D is spot-on. I truly have no idea how they did it... but I'm glad they did! Most highly recommended.

Waiting in the wings for later viewing: Jurassic Park 3D and my Darling Bride's sister has never seen the movie :D

So get this: I pre-ordered the Note 3. Then canceled because I realized I didn't want white. Then ordered in black. Then canceled because I wanted to buy it in the store. Then ordered again when the "Glitch" was on. Then canceled because I didn't trust it. Then re-ordered it again when I realized that they were honoring glitch orders. Then canceled when I realized they probably wouldn't honor mine since I had canceled then re-ordered. Then ordered it again at full retail. Then I was going to cancel it last Monday night because I had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't ship until the 10th and then I'd have to wait til the 12th to get it, while all the stores would have it on the 10th bright and early. But before I canceled, VZ charged me and began shipping process. Okay, fine.

But the problem now is, I took off work Thursday morning (for an "appointment" and I won't be back til noon) in order to go to Verizon and buy the beast, but now I have nowhere to go except whatever I do, I will know that my Note 3 is sitting on my desk at work waiting for me, with me nowhere nearby!!! The FedEx guy always comes early to the office, too.

I'm seriously thinking of just going to a movie to get my mind off of it that morning.

I actually had my fiancee watch Jurassic Park for the first time a few weeks ago - not sure how people haven't seen that movie.

Hope your Note 3 gets here soon Chief!

Sadly, MY Note 3 is on the FedEx truck for delivery, so it's a little too late to cancel now. I wonder if I could track that truck down somewhere... :D

No, it'll be here soon enough. And I'm not moving until it gets here, because I WILL NOT MISS THAT TRUCK!

I'd cancel the order. Then I'd drive around the neighborhood and track down the truck. Then change my mind and just drive past the truck. Then I'd pull over and reorder it. By then, the Fedex truck would drive by again, so I'd cancel the order. Then order pizza. Mmmmm, pizza.

Go home to get pizza delivery. Truck shows up. I'd go back and forth with the driver whether I want to accept delivery or not. He throws it down and signs for it himself. But I'd leave it on the porch for a few minutes before I bring it in. Put it on the kitchen table, then decide it's better on the dining room table. Then move the box to the living room, and back to the kitchen. I'd open the box, then re-tape it shut. Then open again from the bottom to make it easier to re-tape it. Then re-tape it and bring it back to the post office. But don't mail it, the post office is never open anyway. On the way home get Chinese food. Mmmmm, Chinese food.

Get home and pizza comes. Ever put General Tso's on top of Peperoni and Sausage?

Wait, there's a flex screen phone coming out soon?

I've also seen Wizard of Oz. So that makes 2 movies I don't have to say "I didn't see that". I'll wait for Gravity to come out on video. .

Just got out of Gravity in 3D.

Wow. Best movie I've seen all year. And 3D is a MUST.

Gorgeous scenery, suspenseful.

It's great!!!

Texted the office. No package yet.


Edit: now to head back. Hope I don't blow away. Wind is crazy.
