Not to kill the joy in the thread, but....

Followup to my last cancer doctor appointment was today. They had to cut another chunk about the same size as last time. (Anyone need a reminder of that one)?

This better not get in the way of the half marathon next month (but if it does, that's why I haven't registered yet).
 
Kelmar, what's great about the WH is that is has a cross-section of people, and some of us have been through what you are experiencing. As you can already see, we are fully supportive. From personal experience, if after surgery most of your parts work most of the time, you came out ahead. Hang tough.

My Note 3 is everything I had hoped for, with the exception of one very nagging issue: I can't connect to the PC! I successfully connected ONE time, and never again. My Win7 rig simply won't recognize it. Samsung says take it to Verizon... so there I go tomorrow :(

Sorry Kelmar. I beat cancer 2 years ago and holding strong. You will too. On another note, no pun intended, has anyone heard about the difficulty in rooting the Note3? I really hope it is root/ROM-able.

Chief, have you tried connecting with different USB modes? Not sure if this applies to Sammy, but with Moto, I can choose from MTP and PTP. And MTP can't communicate with my Win7 PC, but PTP mode works fine. And AirDroid solves all problems.

Also, for those still considering purchasing the Note 3 there is a coupon code that will get you $90.00 off if you go to a corporate store or use it online. I saw it in another forum here in AF but please don't ask me to find it again. I just got off the phone with VZW rep and she verified it was good. VERIZON30 is the code. She didn't know the expiration date. She also confirmed that the 6GB MAX plan does not have to be linked to the EDGE plan which makes me very happy as my data plan at least won't increase in price.
Of course I am probably just late to the party and y'all already know all of what I just said. So just ignore me. I'll just crawl back into my corner over here....

Do you have unlimited data? If you want to keep it just do the Device Payment Plan.
