Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Yep. Doing that and Media device. Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. WugFresh doesn't recognize for adb. Anything I can find I'm trying.
 
I kinda have a fix.

Device Manager > Android PHone > Google Nexus ADB Interface...right click > Update Driver > Browese > Let Me Pick....should be 2 options; Google and MTP. Now here is another problem I pick MTP and it tries to instal. Now I get "this device cannon start. (Code 10)

Okay. I got it.

Using the same above but this time I enabled USB Debugging before going to Device Manager. Only this time when I went to Let Me Pick the second choice switched from MTP to USB. So I picked USB and it installed right away.

FINALLY my computer notices it!!! I've spent 3 hours on this today. UGH.

Now under Device Manage my nexus 7 is now a Nexus 4, WTF?

I AM NOT unplugging from my laptop until I do what I wanted to do. And that will have to wait because I want to sleep!

Morning everyone!! I have come to realize that my body no longer rebounds from a late night as quickly as I want to believe it does. I am 2 cups of coffee in and just starting to shake the fog. Now, if only the coffee would help the ringing in my ears from a small venue concert. :)
I will say if you're ever in Jersey and have a chance to see a band you like at Starland Ballroom, GO. It's a great place.
 
I seem to remember my Gen1 N7 used the GNex Drivers. I haven't tried anything with my Gen2 N7.:dontknow:

I absolutely love Starland Ballroom - I've seen Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday and so many other good bands there, but I guess you were there for the Papa Roach show last night?

Funny story, before it was Starland Ballroom it was a club called Hunka Bunka ballroom. When I was looking for venues for my Bar Mitzvah, my parents and I just happened to stumble across this place on a tip from a friend. I ended up closing down the club on a Saturday night for my Bar Mitzvah at 13 years old. It was pretty awesome.

Yep! It's the second time I've seen them there. They put on such a good show. I have also seen Marilyn Manson and a few others there. I never knew that was the old Hunka Bunka. I have now learned something new and its not even 10 am.

What a coincidence. I was also at the Starland Ballroom last night for the Papa Roach concert. :D

The odds of that are like seeing a random GNex user. ;)

Well imagine that - in the midst of a sea of iPhones, I did happen to see a random Gnex. Also saw a G2 somewhere above my head. ;)
 
After pairing my Nexus 7 with my vehicles Bluetooth I'm thinking the G2 Bluetooth has a problem. I left my apartment listening to a song, stopped at Sheetz, turned off my vehicle, came back and started it back up and the N7 and my vehicle just start right were it left off. With the G2 I have to turn my phone on and resync.


I didn't know Papa Roach was still around?

I'll test for you today.

So you're saying listen to a song via Bluetooth, get out and go into a store. Come back out and see if the phone connects back to the radio and continues playing where it left off?

That's it. G2 I have to go into Bluetooth and resync. N7 just connects and continues playing.

Sorry Halon, but I had to laugh. I've been through very similar, late night, 3 hour, bang your head against the table situations before. Glad you got it working though!

I'm flying out to DC tonight for a few days for work, and I loaded up my Note 3 with the entire season (so far) of Boardwalk Empire and the first season of Ray Donovan. Not to mention the latest episode of Homeland and World War Z. Still plenty of space left on my SD card.

12 Years a Slave or Captain Philips?

Really want to see the former but want to make sure it's not something the lady wants to see first.
 
I want to see Captain Philips. He did an AMA on Reddit yesterday or the day before and actually answered the questions about his crew calling him a liar and whatnot.
 
I heard his role was a complete farce. In that, the actual Philips was not the hero as it's played out to be. Not sure about all that, but it still looks like a good movie.

Samsung sucks marbles! I don't know why the heck they are SO FREAKING TERRIBLE at releasing accessories for their devices!

I still can't find the freaking Book Cover anywhere for the Note 10.1.

Crapple Air will drop next Friday with all their little cases and covers and docks all neatly lined up on their little metal shelves. And anyone that wants an official Samsung accessory has to scour eBay for Chinese ripoffs.

Tell me about it! I can't even get OEM accessories for the Note 3, let alone third party stuff! I had a 3-day wait on a wireless charging s-view cover. Then that became a week. I'm afraid to look again... it might be a month!

He would give a brief statement on his side of the story but then would say about wait for the court case to find out the truth.
