Since I updated my Galaxy Note 1 to Jelly-bean 4.1.2 I have noticed a couple of problems.
1. There is a pesky little half moon tab at the left hand side on the screen. If this is "clicked" it then brings several app icons in a bar down the left hand side of the screen. It is relatively easy to remove by simply pressing and holding the right hand bottom button "back" key. It comes back with the next screen. The problem is that it is a nuisance as some times it covers a letter or two or an important part of a page and can interrupt your train of thought by having to stop and remove the bloody thing.
2. When using my phone (before update) I would dial the number and then press "Speaker" button on the left hand side of the screen. And use the phone as a totally hands free operation. Now when I press that button I can hear the phone dialling and I can hear the voice of the person I've called but they cannot hear me. I can work around the problem by unpressing the "Speaker" button and use it as a normal mobile phone by holding it up to my ear - not much good when driving and the cops are around. The other workaround is to use the ear piece and microphone. This is a bloody nuisance as well as you have to put the ear pieces in all the time, when you are driving just in case you get a call. Bear in mind that I might only get one call a week and it would be my luck to get that one call when driving on the free-way and cannot get to the curb for about 20 km or so.
As I say, I can get round these problems but I liked as it was.
