Sorry, but No. I'm not saying there aren't running apps in the background, but not every app in memory is running. It's part of how Android manages memory to conserve battery life.If apps are left in background, they are still 'running'. The apps running in background will still consume RAM and CPU cycles. Dependent on the app, this can degrade performance and drain the battery at the same time. No app put in background will simply stop. It will still be active. Which is why I prefer to exit/close the app when no longer in use.

...wait, is this the other bill, only a bill, and you're sitting there on capitol hill ? ). Yes you are right. we are aware of that and that some backgroud activity is basically the system at work. We have had apps and processes running from not having a simple exit button. Backing out of browser on my end leaves an iincognito page open. When i close process or apps like enhanced email down it frees up a lot of process and memory. It goes both ways so everybodys right.
