Lurker
So when reading emails from either of my accounts as I scroll down through the text often times the messages scrolls itself all the way back to the top. Sometimes it does this and somes it doesn't. What am I missing?

Go under Settings -> Motion -> Double tap to top and see if it was checked. It could be very sensitive depends on how you hold the phone. If it is checked, you may want to uncheck it.

Wow, learn something new every day!...LOL...I guess that's what I get for not really looking through the entire motion settings area, since I didn't feel I'd use it. I have to go through again and start using some of those.

I have been testing all those motion thing the first week I got the phone. First is.. double tap to top.. cool I want that. Then 2 hours later... hmmm this is annoying... turn it off. Then another 2 hours later.. but if I don't have it on, I will be missing out.. turn it back on. In the end, I decided to turn everything off! :p I guess I decide my phone is already smart enough and I don't want it to turn into Skynet. :p

Hahaha...I have a feeling I'll react the same way. I already am accustomed to certain gestures that are extremely easy to use, that I didn't think I'd need/want to use the motions (but I never really gave them a chance). The only motion sensitive activity that I have turned on is the smart stay, which is a little qwriky (especially since it doesn't work in dark rooms), but it hasn't had any negative affects to the battery life, so I've never de-activated it.
