My galaxy note 2 does not have any limitation for pattern trials. Ive tried more than 30 and it didnt block input neither asked my backup pin. Also there is no option for resetting my password via my google account. I had thoose options before... Why did it disappear ?

I wish I could help but honestly I don't understand what you're asking.
Someone who locks their phone may be able to help you.
