The trouble with Sprint is that it's CDMA. All Philippine carrier uses GSM. Meaning I can't give this phone away to my relatives when I decide to upgrade on my 2nd year. =)

I must say it is a very nice case. I got the combo with the holster. black. Fits like a glove. openings to all buttons and power. Fits well in the Samsung universal vehicle car dock that I got today as well. It actually had a field test by accident after I put it on. Set it on my kitchen counter top and was accidently pushed off and fell over 4 ft to the tile floor. No damage what so ever. Very nice to hold. Slips on and off very easily. comes with first soft rubber covering then a harder piece to re-enforce the corners. ill have to get another one in a color i like after they come out. Kickstand works great to watch movies with. Tho if you dont have any fingernails it is a bit tricky to pull it open. The holster is a perfect fit and like it can be turned to any angle. You can only mount it with the face of the phone inwards. I choose not to put a screen protector on, unless you use a diamond you pretty much cant scratch this glass. Want to get the desktop charger from samsung but there backordered and my 50 percent off for registering ends in 6 weeks. Enjoy your Note 2 everyone.
Received my black Samsung hard case yesterday. It really looks nice and almost appears like the phone doesn't even have a case on it. It adds very little bulk to the phone. It does not have that rubbery outside so some people might not like the feel of it but I think it is comfortable to hold and use. I just love how little it adds to the size of the phone and the fact that most people wouldn't realize at first glance that the phone is in a case.
The only other thing regards how much protection it will offer. It sounds like the weak part of the phone is when it is dropped on its corner as this has been leading to the screen cracking due to the edge to edge glass. I hope the case would absorb most of that type of impact and thus protect the screen though I have no real way of knowing without testing (which I won't do). Perhaps others have more knowledge in this area and we'll hear their opinions later. Basically with the 50% off coupon this is certainly a case worth trying for $15 + shipping ($20 total for me).

This is fantastic. I think I'm convinced THIS is the case of cases! Here you go...

Do you experience any problems with the s-pen and magnet on the back?
Well as embarrassing as this may be, I've never used the pen. I actually haven't even pulled it out yet (that's what he said). I'm trying to figure out everything about the phone before I do. I know, weird.
Nice Wang!! I feel like you did a review without the case!! Thats pretty cool!!![]()
Thanks everyone for posting the pics and feedback on the Seidio cases.
I watched a bunch of videos on youtube on the Seidio Active and Surface cases for the GSIII. I like both cases, but when comparing to the Otterbox variants that WILL come out (eventually), here is where I come out:
1. Seidio Active is comparable to the Otterbox Commuter. Same basic design - rubber mold with plastic shell that secures it.
2. I initially thought the Seidio active would be a good replacement to the Otterbox Defender. However, it is not close to as durable - assuming the Otterbox Defender for the Note 2 will be similar as the Defender for the Note 1. The Defender has a hard shell plastic case that encompases the entire phone first, which is then surrounded by rubber.
In terms of safety/durability, this is what I have come up with:
Seidio Surface <<< Siedo Active/Otterbox Commuter <<< Otterbox Defender
3. I want two cases - one for everyday use, and one for rugged use (snowboarding, biking, etc). For everyday use, I've decided on the Seidio Surface case for the following reasons:
A) I don't need the bulk of the Active or the Commuter (or defender) cases.
B) Between Otterbox and Seidio, Seidio is shipping now and I need this ASAP for everyday day-to-day protection. No time to wait for Otterbox, but I wouldn't want the Commuter for day-to-day use anyway.
C) Seidio has a kickstand, which I would like on a day-to-day basis (Versus when I'm boarding - I need maximum protection and could care less about the kickstand). Day-to-day case is what i take to work, I use on the train, on a plane, etc. Kickstand would be great.
4. For outdoors conditions, I will wait and get the Defender case for Otterbox. From the videos and research, the Otterbox Defender is by far the most durable. I am thinking - Snowboarding, case in pocket - I take bad crash. I need the phone protected.

That's a nice case, KS-Man.
Still wondering why I spent nearly $70 for a Seidio Surface case with holster, but I'll see if I got my money's worth when it arrives on Wednesday.
I just got the case that I ordered from eBay. It's very nice. High Quality.![]()

It's a little difficult to use because I have to fold the flap back to use the phone. I may use it until my red Seido case comes in the mail.
Please let me know how the folded flap feels during the course of usage. Mine became uncomfortable. Just noticed you have a strap on there.... NICE!!!!
Which Seidio did you order- Surface or Active?
