Galaxy Note 2 master Accessories List

Yes. Found a seller in the US selling for $100. The rest cost a bit more ($130+) shipping from Korea.
I added a pic of the box because the Korean packaging is in Korean.

Definitely need to use the charger provided unless you have one with a thin base b/c it won't go into the mUSB port. I had to get my lil man to hold both for the pic. His reward- McDonald's.

The provided charger and size comparison next to a Papermate PhD (retractable pen). Had to turn flash off to take pic of S-Pen charging.

Now that you have an extra S-Pen, check something out for me...

I noticed that using the extra S-Pen (w/ eraser) while the stock S-Pen was connected to the phone, would prevent the Note 2 from identifying the handwriting pad from coming up as input method. Can you verify, that it's the same for you, when you get a chance?

I still haven't sat down to see how one can select the writing input pad to come up, even with the OEM s-pen still connected to the phone. Lemme know what you come up with.

Look what I got.... :D

Posted question for you in the accessories thread, but looks like it's probably more appropriate here:

I noticed that I can't actually purchase the charger with that link. Does that mean they are out of stock or it's discontinued? That would be a shame as I've got a 50% off coupon.

What happens when you add it to your shopping cart?

Never mind....I did it myself. You cant use the 50% code because the charger/spare battery is coming up as backordered. Is that the same thing you saw?

Tested in messaging app and S-Note- The handwriting pad has to be manually invoked by press/hold mic on stock keyboard.

Page Buddy doesn't recognize there's another S-Pen; yet all S-Pen functions work; e.g.....Airview, taking pics.

Basically it just boils down to having an extra S-Pen. I took mine (stock) out the phone and Page Buddy did what it was supposed to do even though I'm using the BT pen.

Samsung's first MHL to HDMI adapter employed the micro USB 5 pin connection on the MHL side. - these would be for the original Note.

The Note 2's dock port is actually a dual layer 11pin type, which is still backwards compatible with the typical 5 pin Micro USB data sync / charge cables. It is NOT compatible with the original Samsung MHL to HDMI adapter -

However the small 11pin to 5 pin MHL conversion adapter will allow Note 2 users to use the original Samsung MHL to HDMI adapter.

Universal HDTV Adapter (5-pin) w/ 5-pin to 11-pin MHL Conversion Tip

Stream videos, music and other multimedia from your phone to an HDTV or monitor. The perfect solution for a household with multiple Samsung smartphones, the HDTV Adapter (5 Pin) w/ HDTV Adapter Tip will assure you have a compatible adapter for any Samsung MHL-enabled smartphone. Newer smartphones are switching from a 5pin to an 11pin micro USB port to support added features. This accessory provides users the ability to stream content from phones, regardless of if they have a 5pin or 11pin micro USB port, to an HDTV with the HDTV Adapter Tip. The HDTV Adapter supports HD signals up to 1080p. In order to function, the Adapter also needs to be connected to a power source via the Micro USB port on the adapter itself. (HDMI Cable and Micro USB Travel Charger sold separately)

So just to clarify I can buy this : HDTV Adapter TIP (5 to 11 Pin Converter)

adapter and it will work with my Note 2?

I do not see the point of this. Why not simply have a regular bluetooth headset?

I guess it depends on how one looks at it. I cannot speak for why someone would need the BT-Pen. Using it I see it as just having an extra pen that happens to function as a BT headset.

Yes it would be cheaper to have a regular S-Pen but I'm not like most people.
It's different and white. There was no need here; I simply wanted it.
Initially I had changed my mind about getting it because of Sprint and their limitations but for the price I paid for it I'm good with it.

It's comfortable to use as it feels like the pen in my above pics. And the button is more natural to push.

"Add to cart" isnt an option for me. All I get are the "shop now" button which takes me other retailers and the "show features" button.
:(

Sounds like you are visiting the mobile version of the site. Visit the desktop version and when you hit SHOP it will add it to your cart. They are on backorder though.

When did you buy? And from Samsung? Been waiting for them to get back in stock, but still haven't seen it back in stock and I've checked almost every day.

I ordered it from Verizon. $25.00 off. I gave up on Samsung getting them before my coupon expired. I used that for other stuff that they had in stock, which wasn't much. .

Thanks for the tip!!

I paid full price $99+tax

This will save me the hours i have already spent checking daily for the Smart Dock II at at the Samsung store!
Smart Media Dock, 3 USB ports, HDMI, line audio-out, TA included

Main reason I want this is to be able to connect my extra 1TB external hard drive as a dedicated back-up for phone stuff. The other 2 USB connections will be dedicated for other things.

I do beta testing for Android Audio / MIDI apps and look forward to testing the Note 2 with Smart Dock II's USB Host ports with USB Class compliant Audio and MIDI interfaces.

Plus I could carry the note 2 and the smart dock and basically do heavy lifting work with Google Drive docs anywhere a spare HDMI Display monitor and USB Mouse and keyboard are, like my folks house, or old friends with only an old AOL dial up internet access on their old Dell PC.

Just got my Bluetooth dongle and low profile double USB aux power source. Hope this is one less cable I have to attach. =)

@Elantric you must have wanted that pretty badly. I think that's the one accessory I may wait for. *I think*
This has been my #1 "must have" accessory for the Note2

Remember the Smart Dock II retail box also includes a spare 2amp travel charger and micro USB cable too.

If this ever gets in stock at the USA Samsung store - I'll order a 2nd one with my 50% off code. But I'm not expecting Samsung USA to have these for a few more weeks.
