Galaxy Note 2 master Accessories List

Just got my Bluetooth dongle and low profile double USB aux power source. Hope this is one less cable I have to attach. =)

My bluetooth dongle has been far better than I imagined it would. I'm glad I purchased 2 because I'm going to try splitting my aux 3.5mm adaptor, connecting each with the bluetooth dongle, and that might eliminate my wanting the iBolt car dock (if they ever decide to release the early pics of it...if it really is finished). It's already 2 weeks since Michael had last posted on XDA with an update that they'd have pics and maybe a video for us, but still nothing.

Thanks for the tip for the Verizon Wireless store for the Samsung Smart Dock II!!

I searched for any discount codes - but could not wait.

So I paid full price $99+tax -and plan to use this with my AT&T Note 2

This will save me the hours i have already spent checking daily for the Smart Dock II at at the Samsung store!
Smart Media Dock, 3 USB ports, HDMI, line audio-out, TA included

That's odd. It just automatically discounted it for me. I wonder if it was a limited time offer.

I'm not a Verizon Wireless customer - so no discount

I paid $107 (free shipping + California tax)

I have an AT&T Note 2 - but this Smart Dock is extremely scarce here in the USA.

I have literally been checking 4 times a day for the past month seeking anyone with these in stock in the USA.

Glad Verizon finally got these!

Thanks again for posting the news here of this item finally being available at Verizon !

I feel like such a dope. So, before I got my Note 2, I purchased one of those supposedly "OEM" batteries from ebay. After receiving it, it truly did look like it was a genuine OEM battery. Problem is, now that I have my Sprint and International version, as well as the 2 extra batteries that I got with the stand...I can't tell which one is the one I bought from ebay!...LOL. Good thing is, I don't see any real discrepancy in battery life, but at some point I'm going to have to sit down and try to find the dramatic difference between all of them.

Here's a question for those that have the international version (and this might actually help me figure out which one is the one from ebay). Does the International version of the Note 2 come with a battery that says it was Made in Korea (and no indication that it was assembled in China)? I have 4 batteries that clearly state Made in Korea, assembled in China and 1 battery that says made in Korea. If the International Note 2 comes with a battery that is also assembled in China, then obviously the one that doesn't state that is the ebay battery. If not, I guess I'll just have to keep on rotating like I have been.

Agreed, I might not need the iBolt dock since I'm happy with the current dock I purchased from China. I also have a spare battery charger/dock and a spare battery purchase from Samsung, so power option is not really needed. The only thing that would make me but an iBolt dock if it can charge my phone, launch Car Home Ultra, and connect the Bluetooth or aux audio with one action, and that means it does all these things by just sticking the phone.

I don't remember what dock you purchased. Link please.

I thought those NFC stickers could be programmed to do whatever you want them to do. If so, couldn't you just program one to make all that happen and sick it on the dock of your choice? I haven't even seen, let alone used a NFC, so I could be totally wrong here.

I did. And I programmed the NFC sticker to open Car Home Ultra, set volume to 100%, set brightness to auto brightness and activate Bluetooth, the last one can be done with Car Home Ultra settings. But it kept on repeating the commands, in my case I use Samsung tectile app, when it activates, it goes to a white screen saying that it has done all these settings, while your music stops. And it does this every 10 to 20 seconds. After 20 minutes of it doing the same thing again and again, I switched NFC off.

NFC Task Launcher is dead simple. I like a lot of what Samsung has programmed into this version of TouchWiz, but trying to make a proprietary app for NFC chips seems silly when someone's already doing it better. But then how else could they sell their branded NFC chips?

Gave up on the NFC car dock combo. If I have to tap it before I put it to the car dock, then that defeats the purpose. I'll just stick to car home ultra icon on my home screen. Then configure car home ultra to do the things like turn on Bluetooth, turn off Wi-Fi, set media volume to 100%, and enable car mode. Plus I don't have to see an ugly sticker on my dashboard.:)

So basically Car Home Ultra can already do this without the use of a tag? Then why use the tag?

thanks

I have the international version and I can see no reference to China. I cannot read the oriental characters on the battery but I attach photos so possibly someone else may be able to do so.

Hey, I have the note 2 with an ionic protective case. I need to find a pouch that has belt loops and the clip, with the size necessary to fit the beast with the protective case. Anyone know which ones are good? I use a pouch because it keeps my phone clean, I work outside and there's a lot of dirt and stuff involved in my job. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.

Well I do not know if it makes a difference but my US Note 2 battery is like the one on the left that states :please refer to manual before using battery" in the following languages...
English,
French,
French???
Portuguese,
Spanish,

No mention of Made in Korea whatsoever on that side, but on the back side it does say Cell made in Korea, assembled in China.

Both of my batteries are like the one pictured above on the left but on the back of both they say Made in Korea Assembled in China. One came with the phone the other bought from Samsung if that helps.

Nutshell would be perfect for your needs except they don't yet offer one to hold a Note2 with a case on it and they are very tight without a case.
