Galaxy Note 2 - Timing out and Missing Sync

Hi all.

Ive been looking all over the web and the forums for an answer to this question, so i apologise if I have missed something but I really cant find what i am looking for...

I have recently converted from an iphone to the Galaxy note 2 and have been having issues with being able to get my data that I have, which is on a Macbook, to my Note. I have been using a combination of Isyncr and Missing Sync. The former for my music, and the latter for my photos. Its not ideal and i would rather just use Missing Sync as it should be able to do all i want it to do.

Im not able to do this however due to a persistant issue where after running Mising Sync to do whatever it needs to, after a period of time i get an error from Missing Sync that says it wasnt able to be completed due to a device time out. it completes the sync partially, and if i start it again it will continue from that point but wont do it all without timing out.

I am assuming that this means the Note is stopping the connection, so I have altered the display settings so that the screen doesnt dim at all but I cant seem to locate the setting that will stop it going to the lock screen after a period of inactivity, which is what I think the issue is. If i do the sync and am using the handset or touch the screen every so often, this issue doesnt occur but obviously this isnt a practical solution.

I have emailed the Missing Sync creators but as yet they havent come back to me and as I am impatient to properly use my new handset and get familar with it.. here I am.

Any help would be gratefully looked at...

Thanks for the suggestion, but that didnt seem to work. Ive had a response from the developer and again waiting to hear...
