Help Galaxy note 3 camera problem after upgrade to 5.0

Hello I just recently received a update for my galaxy note 3 phone to version 5.0 now there are no settings when I open the camera, I can not find any way to change settings I can turn the flash on or off, switch camera to front facing that's it, If I click on mode there are 5 options to choose from, but I used to have settings for the camera but they are gone, can someone tell me how I change the settings please, I can not use zoom either as it says can not zoom in or out in this mode Auto, many thanks Sue.
 
On the stock Google camera I can swipe from the left to bring up more options, which in turn also activates a settings button. I've never owned a Samsung device so I'm not sure if/how their camera app differs from the one I use. I've went ahead an moved your question to the Note 3 section where other Note 3 users should be able to offer you the best advice.

Hello many thanks for your reply, I tried the swipe but still no settings show it will not zoom in on video or any of the modes, thanks again Sue.
