galaxy note 3 signal?

Has anyone noticed the signal fluctuates a little more on the note 3 iv been comparing it to my iPhone that I came over from and the note 3 seems it has a slightly weaker signal in some places sometimes one for a second when my iPhone has 4 bars "noticed this when driving" maybe it could have been from tower switching it also seems to hold the same tower longer then finally switches to the next tower does android do something different with the radios than ios in the way it measures signal like where I might have a weak signal when I really have a better signal or are the Samsung radios just crap?

Yes, I have noticed this depending on where I am. At my home I have a somewhat weak signal anyway but the GN3 seems to oscillate between 4G 0-2 bars and often drops out to 3G and sometimes even 1G. I did not notice that with my Motorola Razr Maxx HD (last phone). I got a solid 4G connection, albeit weak at 1-2 bars.
