Last they've said was Q2 which would be by the end of June. So don't expect it before July lol

I would recommend that you don't install ICS until you are able to confirm that the power problem is resolved.
Current ICS turns your phone into a near brick. It lasts barely 8 hours, if you don't use more than a few minutes during this time.

This is not true at all. Both my wife's, and my Note have had great battery life after the update. It took a couple of days training the battery, but after that it has been fantastic. Today my battery has lasted 18 hours (Nearly 4 hours of screen on time) and it still has 10% left. So far my battery life is much better on ICS, than on Gingerbread.
