Galaxy Note via Best Buy!

Have anyone pre-ordered via Best Buy and heard something when the phone will arrive in store for a pick-up??

They promised the delivery by 17th, but it seems like that's only worked for people who ordered it through ATT...

Yeah I called last night and was told it would ship when it is avail on the 19th. I have read and seen quite a few posts that the pre 19th ship was only for AT&T pre orders. I'm ok with waiting a few days though with what was thrown in. All is well in the force...as long as they don't take longer than next week to get them out that is. :)
 
I pre-ordered mine on the 5th (can't pass up $50 and a free case). I called a few times just to be told they don't have it yet. However, I called my Best Buy about 30 minutes ago and the girl told me that they had them in the store already but could not sell them until the 19th (even with my pre-order). So 2 more days of anticipation for me!

I called my local AT&T store as well, and they gave me the same story...they have them but can't sell them until Sunday.

Thanks for your posting! A quick question, did you have to register for the $50 gift card or did the sales person when you set up the pre-order take care of it for you? I completely missed the emails and found out later there is that thing going on...
 
Best Buy was running a promo that if you sign up for their upgrade program before the 12th they would give you a $50 gift card for upgrading your phone in 2012. The catch is that you had to register the number you wanted to upgrade before 2/12.
 
Just checked my bank account and the BB "hold" that had dropped off is now back!!! Guess this means they are fixing to get them in and start processing!!!! Can't wait!!!!
 
Got this email this morning

Your purchase will be ready for pickup at the CHRISTIANA DE Best Buy store #1480 on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Please pick it up between Sunday and Tuesday, February 21, 2012, to avoid order cancellation.
 
Best Buy is doing there best to C.Y.A. and back stroke on the delivery of the G Note on 2/17, if you did the pre order to get it on this date? They have dropped the ball on some us big time?
There C.Y.A. excuse now is the pre order of the G Note never meant anyone us would see it by 2/17, 2 days before the BB stores are scheduled to have it for sale?
Most of us also received the sales order via e-mail from BB, in which it stated scheduled delivery of the G Note would be 2/10/12-2/15/12, but this date came and went, and NO G Note for most if not ALL of us? I questioned this false date with them, and got the same C.Y.A. BS answers
What good did it do any of us, if you pre ordered from BB or AT&T, to have the G Note shipped after its available in the stores???:mad:

It said right on my receipt 2/19.I pre order for the free case if i wanted it on 2/17 i would of ordered it from at&t
 
I don't remember seeing an option to pick up in store when I per-ordered :( Wish I would of paid closer attention. Was that option there to get the case too?
 
Just got back home with my new note in hand! Was the 2nd one in line at my Best Buy, was in and out pretty quick. On the way home I swung by an AT&T store and picked up a charging dock. I would definitely recommend one of these. It puts the phone into alarm clock mode automatically which is awesome.
 
Went to my local Best Buy at 9:50am, and nobody's here but the workers. At 10:00 during the store's opening I walked in, purchased a Galaxy Note, w/ out a pre-order, and walked out. This thing is huge! Lovin' the AMOLED screen!
 
Anybody keep their online order like me? If so does everyone's order still say back-ordered? I can only assume that is because they do not process online orders for fulfillment on Sundays. I just hope they process them tomorrow so they can be ready to ship on Tuesday. I'll be happy as long as I have it by my day off on Wednesday so I'll have all day to tinker with my Note. If they would not of put that hold back on my account, I would of done like others and canceled the online order and done a preorder yesterday at a brick and mortar. Oh well...hope the status changes tomorrow. I tried to give BB another shot as this is only second time to order online with them to have it shipped to me. Last time was with the Transformer Prime...and yeah....I was just hoping that was a fluke. Even though the release was today, they still could of at least started the order process so it can ship after the holiday tomorrow on Tuesday... Pretty poor planning on their part. If ATT can plan it to where the pre orders got there on the 17th....BB could of done the same....oh well. This will be my last shot with BB. Will do site to store from here on out.....

Mine shows as being "in process of being fulfilled" rather than "backordered".
 
Picked up mine today from BB. Can't stand that store. Refused to honor the 50 dollars off plus free case. Said it had to be one or the other. Ended up yelling at the manager before I left.
 
I got both. I will say the folks at the store are not well trained on the promotions BB runs. So likely they thought they were doing the right thing. Also got triple points coupon to boot........

My order now says "Completed" rather than "Processing", but the case and phone still don't list a tracking number. Phone now says "in process of being fulfilled, usually ships in null-null days".
 
Just called to check on my online order as my hold dropped off. Also saw on a few posts where people changed from online to in store pick up. By far the BEST customer service rep I have dealt with so far. She said the online was on backorder and actually SUGGESTED I switch it to in store pick up. Found a store like 5 miles from my house that had TWELVE in stock. Will be picking it up on my way home from work now. Also my case shipped while I was on the phone with her too. Can't WAIT to have the Note goodness in my hands!!!

By the time I received the shipment email from BB, it had already been attempted to be delivered. Apparently it shipped out yesterday (2/20), but BB's system never updated me to let me know when to expect delivery.

Oh nice!! Yeah I called and checked mine and the automated thing said I had a "billing issue" and the rep said that was a giltch and everything was ok, just back ordered so she flipped me to in store pick up instead.
