Galaxy Note4

In fact, I went ahead of the game and assumed what was the end game..and ended up bricked..just now I had my phone up and running again..

So I will slow down and stop my assumptions..and stay on your game..

I'm listening.

Start with this /system/priv-app as a practice run. If it errors then its not likely to cause bootloops.
Download it from the link below.
I have done the same and taken screen shots the steps. I will upload them but I need to number them first. Please wait until I have finished and edited before you start porting. I will post finished at the end of my posts. Most likely it will be uploaded in several parts. Kool? :)

Original Smart Manager /system/priv-app

Once pasted notice the permission of the original and your ported Mod are not the same. Change the ported Mod Smart Manager to match the original.

The lib folder need not be changed as it was not ported.

Question..do I need that smart manager?, I don't have it any more..it's fine from my phone..what do I need it for?, what's the relevance with hot spot?

Never mind..I get..just for testing purposes..

Exactly, the principal is the same when porting. Ill post another link with different system apps to port from.
However if you choose to skip that and proceed to framwork.jar instead that entirely up to you.
If you notice the screen shoot above I specifically named a main folder on external sd and it 2 sub foulders (original and Mod). Before you begin copy original folder from your system and place it in orginal sub folder. And do the same for you port to mod folder. Rename your mod from framework.jar to framework1.jar. That way you can copy and past it. If you do not change the name your moded framework.jar you won't be able to past it to system because it will not allow 2 folders, files, jars, apps..... etc with the same name

Hey bro, that's exactly what I did two days ago with the two jars..the only difference is that I did matched the names to the original ones(i deleted the originals then posted the mod jars..put the names as the originals ones were named)..and did also the rights..same way you did with the example above..then deleted..then reboot..except that never booted..

It's exactly the same flow as the apps I've been turned into system..

Only do one at a time. For instance if you choose services.jar, just do that one and reboot.
If you do both and one is compatible and the other is not you won't know which one is or which one isn't. If you wind up in bootloop you may believe both are incompatible. This way you can determine exactly what is and what is not. :)

So, will I leave the jars's names with the "1" after words??

I remember my frist time, I was uneasy and confused. The first couple of times, I would go back to the instructions when manually porting my rom. The whole process felt difficult so if you feel that way to I definitely understand brother. :)

No, It is only needed to past. Then maych the permissions of the original. Copy original jar to external sd. Go back to system and delete original framework.jar. Then change the mod system framework1.jar to framework.jar.

It's not difficult at all..I've done this way too many times..already know the flow..

The only difference is that I delete the original before I paste the mod one..for name purposes..had worked for me so far..

I'll try what you do by having both at the same time while I change the rights of the mod one..

If your ported framework.jar is in itself incompatible you will have no way of knowing if it was due to the .jar or the method you used. You may think you made a mistake when setting permissions even though you did everything correctly.
