It started friday
At first my phone kept making a beeping noise and I finally figured out why it was saying charging then not charging but it wasnt even plugged in to the charger now its stuck at charged and gets really hot any info will help

If you are still having problems with your device, then i would suggest that you replace the battery to see if the problem persist.

If the problem persists, you might have to get the device check-out. I've also moved your thread to its device's support forum.

Some have solved this issue by gently cleaning the contacts inside the phones charging port. Lint (or other obstructions) can jump the connections and give the false charging message. If that doesn't help, you might have a damaged charging port, and that is a job for Samsung (or someone with soldering skills)

I FIXED THE PROBLEM ON MY PREVAIL! While the phone is on plug in the charger. Pull the battery for two minutes. Replace battery and fully charge the phone. NO MORE BLEEP BLEEP!
