Help Galaxy S II Issue

hey guys, what's up ? hope you be good.

please I have a problem with my Galax S II, when I switch it off, after

the button lights goes off, a greet battery will appear ( just like when you

charge galaxy s 2 while it's switched off ) but with a thermometer

that shows up with it.

and from that point I can't switch on my phone, is that indicator that my

battery is dead or another matter ? I will really appreciate your help .

So your phone isn't plugged in and it has good battery when you switched it off?

Have you tried charging it for a couple of hours just for the hell of it and see if that fixes the issue?

no buddy, my battery was full at the time, and it lasts normally as before, but I don't know why does that green battery appears when I switch it off.

Probably a long shot, but have you tried giving the usb port a good scrub with a (dry) toothbrush? It might just need a good clean. Sometimes they get pretty dirty and all sorts can happen, even it thinking it's plugged in when it's not.
