Newbie
Hi All,

I have bought Samsung Galaxy S II on 11/06/2011. As per the site and the information provided on the back side of the box Galaxy S II has a 16 GB inbuilt memory . But I can only see it has 11.5 Gb inbuilt . Can you please explain why this is happening . If the has been faced by someone/everyone.
I have sent mail to Samsung they confirmed that the memory has been kept in reserve to run your MAIL & Application faster. is it true. please some one put a light on it.I am really disappointed after seeing this

Please find attached screenshot which I have taken to help you understand the situation.

You phone actually has 2gb + 16gb of flash memory + 1gb of ram memory , and you have a micro sd slot and can add another 32gb if you like.

But your phone steals a bit of your memory for it`s system files so you never see the full amount free.

Don`t worry it`s totally normal
