Galaxy S Vibrant - notifications in call

Lorgayle

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Is there a way to turn off all those annoying noisy notifications that constantly go off in the ear of the person you're speaking with? Such as incoming txt, voicemail, or when the phone is plugged in to charge and you start your car, turn it off etc. The person I'm speaking to can hear it, and by their reaction, it's quite annoying.

AirPush has the ability Click to Call. It launches the phone's dialer preloaded with a phone number ...

So it might be aggressive advertising, pushed by ad networks like AirPush, Leadbolt etc. and caused by a recently installed or updateted app on your phone.

This thread could help you to catch the culprit app ...

If you are in the car and plug in your phone to charge, it makes a particular noise. If you leave it charging and turn off your car, then turn in back on (my car is one of those that the charger turns off when the car is off, then turns back on when the car is running) my caller has to be subjected to that horrible beep each time. Or if an email comes in, or if a txt msg comes in, etc. The only thing that helps is if I remember to turn the volume to silent. Now, when the call is ended, I need to remember to remove the phone from silent mode. Not sure if this is part of the problem, but I'm usually using the speaker phone.
