Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S20 ?

It seems odd for them to deviate from the normal naming convention so I'm guessing S11. Even the people that are not caught up in their phones, like most of us here, are accustomed to the last decade ways of naming devices. I'm not saying that Sammy won't break the long standing naming scheme but I'll consider it a mistake if they do.

Seems to be a bunch of speculation. And if they jump to 20 now, while it sounds cool, that just means they will have to rethink naming scheme all the sooner. Who wants a Samsung Galaxy S22? lol

But then again, a S12, S13, S14, and it keeps going and going, lol

I'm wrong most of the time... ask my wife :) I can see 20 and then 21 in 2021 etc but there will come a time when a flagship device isn't a yearly thing. The tech will wane much as the way of PC's at some future point. I know it's a ways off for there is lots of room for the incorporation of newer tech. It will level at some point and the market won't bare the cost for new development. It's the history of every technology that has hit the market in the last fifty years. What is introduced to replace the phone... is likely on the drawing boards now.

Very good point... ANd who knows. Galaxy S30 in 10 years? lol

Sounds like Samsung is now following Huawei's flagship phone naming convention, that went like P8, P9, P10, P20, P30, and Mate 8, Mate 9, Mate 10, Mate 20, Mate 30. With "30" been their current flagships.

So for Samsung next year, S30 and Note 30?
