Help Galaxy S2 any issues with internal memory?

hi, i'm currently using htc incredible s and its really frustrating with its mounting of sd card problems. And because incredible s only has that much internal memory, i had to put most of stuff in sd card. and there's tons of issues with it not recognizing or mounting problem.

i understand galaxy s and s2 uses its own internal memory of 16g. I was wondering if there's any issues with the internal memory like htc?

Thanks.

Obviously we can't speak yet of the SGSII but the original SGS which I still have has no issues at all with internal SD memory.
Since moving from HTC to Samsung phones the additional internal SD memory has been a total blessing.
I am no longer at the mercy of the phones storage.

this is a excellent phone. but it has 2gb of internal storage. rest 14gb u cannot move applications to this usb memory (very dissapointing). but u can move data like pictures e.t.c from sd card to usb memory. so buy a 10g sd card and then it will be excellent phone. in my opinion samsung or google should have some solution to this if this is a problem with other phones as well. but still a nice phone.

I can not see where your problem lays... 2GB (it's 1.8GB actually) is more than enough for storing Apps.
A typical App is only around 2 to 3MB. Some are KB's in size and occasionally big games are 20MB+. So it would take an awful lot of Apps installed to reach that 1.8GB of internal storage.
Don't forget installation files will be split into two segments ~ App installation (which is the smaller size) and Data installation. The Data files could be over 500MB (certain games require a hefty download after installation. This is the Data file), but the Data file never gets installed into the internal storage, it's always found in the remaining 14GB area.
Older phones such as the HTC Desire have extremely small installation space. For them I understand and sympathize. We on the other hand have a massive area to work with.
