Help Galaxy s2 black screen

I had a working s2 but the outer glass was broken.I ended up removing it all and was gonna replace it with one i just bought,but ran into a problem.So i turned the phone back on to make sure it still worked before i put the glass on but got the black screen with only the buttons lighting up :/ The touchscreen works and can seem to unlock it cause i can feel the little motor vibrate when i touch it.Is the screen pretty much destroyed now?

Its hard to know what may have happened. All I can suggest is make sure all the wires are plugged in good.

Im not seeing any cracks on the digitzer or anything, so thinking maybe the heat got to it.Double checked the connections too and nothing :/ Oh well guess i know next time not to try to fix it myself.
