Hi guys new here to these forums... I'm having boot-up problems with my phone. I need this fixed ASAP.
This happened when I was on the Youtube app and everything on my phone started becoming unresponsive so I removed the battery then put it back on. At this point, It was stuck at the 'Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100' boot screen. It would turn black then back to the same screen. I read a few things on the internet to fix this and one of them was to wipe the catche (I didn't wipe the dalvik catche though), which I did. But still nothing.
After this the boot screen would just come up, but this time it didn't turn black and come back. I try to go back to recovery mode but the android logo with the blue shape just pops up with no recovery mode menu then it goes back to the boot-up screen. From what I've been told and thorough my best understanding, I have several options:
1. Do a factory reset (I prefer if I not have to do this, but if I have to, I will)
2. With recovery mode, reboot the phone
3. Using download mode, download the latest stock Android OS for the S2
4. Go to my mobile carrier's shop to get this fixed
I know this kind of issue has been posted in this forum several times but this is the first time i've ever had a major problem with my phone and i just need someone to help me. All this 'reflashing the firmware' and other stuff is starting to confuse and annoy me.
Someone help me out here please, WTF am I meant to do, espicially with the fact I can't access recovery mode at this moment.
