Help Galaxy S2 - Charging problems

Hi, I bought my S2 4 days ago and every things working fine and I love it!

However yesterday i plugged in the phone while I was on my PC to charge for a couple of hours. I checked it and it had gone up no charge and was quite hot!!

I disconnected the charger, reset the phone and let it cool for a bit and the next time I put it on it was fine again charging as normal.

Now today I did the same put it on charge didn't think anything of it but it did the same again it wasn't as hot this time but I don't know if its because I didn't leave it as long! I just took out the charger, put it back in and waited a little while and it started going up in % again.

Im just wondering if anyone can tell me whats wrong or if I do in fact need to take it back for a replacement?

Thanks
Ash

It is on charge at the minute and the temperature app says it is 51 decrees celcuis.

Is this not TOO hot? Should I take it back and get a replacement?

Thanks
Ash

I can think of a few things you can check;

1) Check if it happens using the wall charger or just the usb cable. If occurs only with PC charging, might be an issue with the cable.

2) Check if the USB port is damaged or rusted. Try cleaning it with a DRY toothbrush CAREFULLY.

3) If its that new, my suggestion is to get a replacement instead of trying to fix it.
