Galaxy S2 (CM7) internal memory keeps going down for no reason

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. My uncle bought it in Singapore and used it for a while and then gave it to me. While he was using it, he rooted it to CyanogenMod-7.1.0-GalaxyS2 and the kernel is 2.6.35.7-g1 e46077

I'm only 15 so I don't know what kernels and all are, I just know what rooting is. Since I've gotten it, I've had to factory reset it 3-4 times because the internal memory goes from 2GB to 20 MB in just a month. When it gets to 20 MB, I can't receive text messages. I can't open apps because they all hang. Nothing at all works - the phone is pretty much a dud then. There's no reason for this because everything I download goes to my SD card and Google hasn't yielded anybody with similar problems or any solutions. I really hate having to constantly reset my phone and losing all my data on my apps, so PLEASE guys, I really need some help.

And preferably I'd like to unroot it. If you need any more info on my phone then please send me a message. I moved every app I could to my SD card and deleted the useless apps, but I still have only 274 MB. Please do help with whatever you know!

Thank you :)
