Help Galaxy s2 external sd problem

i am having problem with samsung galaxy s2
its accepting 1,2 gb card but not accepting 8 gb card
its unavailable in setting>storage

I would say its a duff card. Can you put it in a reader and connect it to your PC? If so, does it get recognized? If so, try formatting it.
What make is it?

I have a 32Gb in mine with no problem.

yes i have formated it its working on nokia mobile and pc and i also format it with pc several times
