Galaxy S2 first charge

So, I got my Galaxy S2 now. I was wondering though, how long do you need to charge it the first time? It used to be like 16 hours with older phones but now I keep seeing different answers throughout the Internet.
So, any ideas?

Samsung themselves don't give specific recommendations for the GS2, but it's a good idea to charge it fully - this won't take long as the battery will be partially-charged anyway - as you'll most likely be using it a lot as you explore the features. Nothing worse than having to stop playing with a new toy to recharge!

The days of long soak-charging to condition batteries are behind us, thank goodness.

Just charge it until full. Newer batteries depend on charge and recharge cycles more, instead of older batteries which have memory effect and other such nuances. About a week or so of full charge and full discharge cycles should have the battery up to capacity.
