Help galaxy s2 lock screen issue

ive had my galaxy s2 for about 2 months now, really like it a lot, had a htc desire before.

one thing that annoys me a bit about my s2 is the fact that the lock screen isnt very professional as id like.

most people i know have iphones and their phones always seem extremely smooth, i never hear or see any glitches etc so it annoys me when i see anything on mine that doesnt seem to just run nicely.

the issue i have with my lock screen is the fact that everytime i press it for a very split second as i press it i seem to see the background / icons and then it turns to my lock screen wallpaper, the clock also seems to show a slightly different time as its doing this, then changes to the correct time once the lock screen is properly showing.

this is all within a split second of course but does kind of annoy me, does this happen to others?

as i say ive only had the phone 2 months, its not full of crap and i only updates to android 2.3.5 about 3 weeks ago, so i dont think its a software fault.

I just updated to KK5 (2.3.6) today and I don't get this problem but I have noticed it before on older firmware.

EDIT - Ignore that, sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't :/ Strange

thanks for the reply, would i have to root my phone to update to 2.3.6 or is it due to arrive through kies at anytime, they have only just released 2.3.5 the other week so dont hold out much hope they would release 2.3.6 soon.

No you can just install it via odin instead of kies, no need to root. I edited my post, not sure if you saw it, its still happening on and off.

I take it as a good thing mostly. It means my phone is really asleep when its meant to. Already figured the lag was due to the CPU getting up and running :D

Really like a computer....

lol well i can live with it :P
i just hoped maybe there was a small fix or something as i didnt think it looked that good / professinal.

Mines particularly bad at the moment, because i've got a setCPU profile for screen off. But thats an issue im almost happy to live with for increased battery.

It could be argued that this is a big thing. People might be put off by this frustration, when they see the slick workings of the iphone.
