Help Galaxy S2 Low on space & not enough storage error (SOLVED)

The dial code works perfectly. Been running on 1Mb device memory & having apps shut down all the time, just did this code & now have 1.3Gb memory. No more having to delete apps to make space

Awesome work putting the code up man, joined to say thanks like all the others!

Thank you so much stu40. I spent too many hours trying to fix this problem...It really works everyone ..dont forget the * at the beginning like I did the first try.

I also don't understand where you guys are "dialing" this in. I keep doing as everyone has said, and am dialing it as if it were a phone number, but nothing happens. my phone is not flashed, I bought it directly from the Verizon store. This is frustrating me to no end because this solution isn't helping at all!

Thank you so much, stu40. I tried your method and now my phone has 1.2GB free instead of 226 MB. You're totally awesome.

A simple way to free up storage space is by deleting all the log files in the device memory. Just dial *#9900# on your phone and select option 2 “Delete dumpstate/logcat” in the prompted menu. It's not necessary to root your phone either. I restored 1.4 gig of space after doing this.

i was having this storage issue for months and could not find a solution to it. Now i found the solution but it is too late :( my s2 has max out the 1.97MB device space and it is not able to go to home screen anymore after boot up, staying at the S2 logo forever.

i tried going into Recovery mode and Wipe cache partition and reboot, but it still complain no more device space

what else can i do now? i dare not perform a factory reset as i was told it would delete all my data! the data in my phone are important to me and i do not have any backup unfortunately.

my O/S is stock version, not rooted in any forms, and i am an IT idiot :(
