Help Galaxy S2 Mobile Data not working after upgrade

Hi

I am having problems with my phone.
Yesterday i got a notification about an available update, which i did via wifi.
now since i have updated to Android V4.1.2 my mobile data is not active, even if it is ticked. It shows as active but its actually off because there is no data connection.
I can connect via wifi but not via mobile data
under Settings > Mobile Networks > APN, there is no access point names. even if i try to put the APN settings manually they just disappear.
I am on MTN network

Do calls and SMS work?

Have you done a factory reset after updating? If not, I suggest you backup your apps and do a full wipe. Then see.

If that doesn't help, contact your network provider.
