Help Galaxy S2 Skyrocket stuck on software upgrade.

Hi,

Recently a software upgrade was pushed over the network by AT&T and my phone got stuck in software update. Everything was tried from restart to hard reset. The version before the upgrade was 2.3.5.

Eventually the phone had to be replaced by AT&T. Even the samsung tech support was not able to help me on this.

The upgrade did not prompt me to save any data/contacts/etc and I lost all of it.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue?

That was an accidental launch on smasungs behalf... Caused major issues

lots of people were having problems with that last SR update. I thought AT&T pulled that update and is no longer available?

They did pull it.... How people are still getting it I have no idea

Yes its intermittent... unfortunately my phone picked it up and ran into the issue. There is no other option but to replace the phone assuming its is still in warranty.

All contacts and data will be lost if not backed up before the update.
