Help galaxy s2 strange problem

Hi Gurus
Since yesterday i have this problem and i can't find anything about it anywhere...
1. Battery icon ontop right is flashing.
2. If i connect mains charger it does not make 'charger connected' sound but seems to be charging
3.wheni disconnect charger batteryicone starts to flash again and in 'lock screen' it stil says it's charging
4.if i turn phone off with no charger it shows this battery icone in the middle like when phone is off but charger would be connected... Dissapears and reapears every few secs..
5.last thing ijust discovered that if i connect my in car charger to usb without pluging into car - chargers red light comes on like it was pluged in...
Any ideas ar all?
Had phone opened and found nothing also cleaned usb with toothbrush but still the same..
Any ideas chaps?

Judging from your post and description of the problem, I would suggest that you take a close look at your USB port under a magnifying glass to see if there is any dirt or debris in there or any misaligned pins. To clear out your USB port, if you do not have an air duster, take an old, clean, toothbrush and very gently work it around the port to clear out any muck that may have accumulated. See if that helps. If not, it may require a trip to the nearest Samsung Service Point for a USB replacement.
