hello .

first of all I would like to thank the android 's page and members who care about the issue.

I have a problem with the phone galaxy s2 and I've tried various options to repair itself .but I could not solve this problem.

I hope to specialize android experts to solve this problem I faced .

The problem is , my phone stuck in recovery mode with the error text.
I 've tried the option ' Wipe Cache / Factory Reset ' and ' Wipe Cache Partition ' After this selection is done, I then select ' Rebooting Now ' .unfortunetely, after reboot , it will continue to go to normal conditions ..but it kept returning to Recovery Mode back same error text .i have no other choice on recovery mode to find a solution to this problem .

(recovery mode log)
#MANUAL MODE#
-- Appling Multi-CSC. . .
Applied the CSC-code : XME

remove failed file'/system/csc_contents' (I/O error)

did i still have a chance to fix this problem or my phone is already directly unenforceability at all ?
please .

I will send an example picture if you dont understand .

forgive me about my bad english

some screenshot .

Try downloading Samsung Kies on your pc and plug the phone in.
I think Kies has an emergency firmware recovery option or something like that.
Anyone know?
Or will it have to be Odin?
I've never used Kies, just ODIN :)
@kexikfixie -- if all else fails, go to Sammobile.com . Sign up for a free account. You can find your firmware for your device and carrier/country and there will be links and instructions about how to flash the firmware.

I don't know what exactly happened to make your device into what it is now, so I don't have any other suggestions to offer but either Kies as @funkylogik mentioned, or the Sammobile bit. ;)

I have read topics about using the Odin flashing ..but , I 'm just not sure I want to start from where and need someone to guide me this .im afraid bout some mistake that make the phone totally faulty .it happen at me before .:D
:D

if using Samsung Kies , can it sync from the recovery mood? usb debugging?

if using Odin, do i free to using any provide firmware? or i must find the currently firmware version on the device?

pls sir .let me know the basically about these solution :saddroid::saddroid:

I'm not sure about Kies but I don't think it has to be in download mode and I don't know about Debugging, try with it on and off.
For Odin you DO have to be in download mode but I can't remember if Debugging should be enabled. The guide should tell you.
Sorry it's been a while since I used either of these tools.
Download Kies and try that first because it installs the drivers needed but if Kies doesn't work, make sure you close the program before using Odin as they aren't compatible.
Hope that made sense lol.
Good luck
And yes find the exact current firmware for your model (model name in Settings, About Phone)

thank you for your time and give you a useful view .

unlucky .i dont know the current firmware on the device .pls tell me that could have other option for flashing a new firmware .there is a others way to know the current firmware version?

what the poor effort from me .are this the answer and finishing for this thread? wuwwuwuw... :spitoutdroid::saddroid::spitoutdroid::saddroid:

Who is your carrier, and what country are you from?
I would surmise the latest firmware version would work as the S2 should have been at the end of its OTA life?

Edit: oh, also, the exact model of your device...it may be under the battery on a sticker

im from malaysia .
what is OTA .'on the air' issit? last ota us wifi .are these thing is keeping our on the air log history? i really noob about this .im sori .pls let me know basically .

Carrier means your phone network/provider.
OTA (over the air) means an update sent to you by your carrier/network through 3g,4g,wifi...
I don't understand the rest sorry (dont worry, my English is the same as yours lol)

No worries:) You can ask whatever you want.

Your carrier is the service provider...who provides the service for your device?
Also, there should be a sticker in the back cover with the model number.
That may help us find your firmware. :)
OTA means "over the air" so you were close;) Carriers send updates to the device "over the air" (OTA) to update your device.

Edit: oh ho ho! Funky ninjad me!!
