Galaxy S2 USB Jig

Hi all

This should be a very simple question for someone out there to answer... I have just rooted my device and removed some of the unwanted apps which I am very happy about, it worked a treat!!

I am running a Samsung ROM as I wouldn't want to confuse myself with the custom ROM side of things yet...

After rooting there is a yellow triangle on the boot screen (which i knew there would be) and the custom counter is at 16....

I have ordered a USB jig from eBay, will this remove the yellow triangle and reset the counter?

I only reason I ask is because I have read somewhere that Samsung are stopping the jigs from working?? Not sure how true this is, something to do with the bootloader.

Please explain things as clearly as possible as I will only get confused!!

Thanks to the guy on here who helped me with the debranding and rooting... Working really nice!

Some will advise you to wear the yellow triangle with pride!;)

The jig I ordered from Amazon UK works on my S2, removing the triangle and resetting the counter.

I haven't heard anything about Samsung preventing the jigs from working, so can't say true or not, but I have read some comments about faulty jigs which were replaced with ones that worked.
