Bluetooth conection on car is giving an audible beep when mobile signal connects and disconects with the network and brings up a window on the cars display saying the mobile is connected. I only get the beeps and display since my recent software upgrade.

Any ideas on how to stop the beeps and doisplay?

I am not sure about that, what bluetooth device do you have and which carrier are you oin with your SG II, maybe someone there will have an answer for you. Have you also checked in the setting of the BT device to see if anything has changed in there ??
