Galaxy S3 coming in June

I'm guessing under $400, only because they are phasing out the S2. Its Out of Stock on VMs website, has been for over a week.

I'm not debating the build quality is better, because it is.

You just have to ask yourself if the build quality makes up for where the s4 out shines it.

Eh... sorry, it seems to me when talking "build quality" are talking about a metal casing rather than plastic -- which isn't build quality. Especially since it is debatable whether metal or plastic is better in a cell phone.

Also, for those that have had the Evo 3D (Evo V 4G), they can tell you of the various problems on the phone, some of which are caused by build issues. Additionally, if you read the HTC One threads, you will find plenty of complaints about build issues with their phones.

Its $427 on the RadioShack website

I don't see the VM version on Radio Shack's site. They do have the Boost version listed for $429.99, so that will probably be VM's price also. I notice the Boost version is white, so I sure hope that VM gets the black version.

Hope we get white too, I would like the White S3 on VM

Black is Verizon only, the only other color choices for us are pebble blue and barney purple.

Someone asked this and price on the VM USA page the other day.."
Any info on when exactly the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be out this month? Price and colors to choose from?

Actually my HTC V 4G was perfect, one of the best build quality and now with my HTC one it is the Best quality I felt. Now to the S3, its cheap and a pathetic phone. Have fun on your plastic phone :D

And that is nice that your V 4G was perfect but that doesn't change the fact that not everyone's have been, though I'm sure you would have to admit it was a bit bulky and heavy. I'll also agree that the HTC One is a nice phone and I'd like to have the Google version, just not sure I want to pay $600 for it.

There is a reason that helmets and body armor are now made out of "cheap plastic" rather than metal -- and those same reasons typically apply to cell phones. I'm not saying that plastic is better than metal (or the other way around); instead, as the article points out, each has advantages.

Whoa whoa... Breathe in, breath out. To each his own.

"I'd bet" that by the end of the summer you can get an S3 on Ting for chump change.
Well the Elite has been out for a year+ now and it is almost $100 more on Ting than VMU, not sure if that is what you mean by chump change or not.

Never mind Ting like Virgin is a NO CONTRACT carrier so what do you mean by "stuck"?
You're stuck because of the $$$ you just spent on a carrier specific device. If I drop $379 for a new S3 on Virgin I am not bound by a contract, but I am bound by the phone being usable only on VMU.

White is fine with me. I don't expect a price below $399.99 initially. I am not going to go out and buy one right away because my Evo V (which has no build problems) is only 4 months old and is working perfectly. My time frame will be 2 or 3 months, or if an attractive sale pops up.

Yay another smart shopper. :D

There's also the red one...
Virgin does the red stuff, yeah? It's kind of their color?
I don't think it's 100% AT&T exclusive cause I've seen it unlocked.
