Galaxy S3 news and more !!

The SG3 on U.S. Cellular is $350 with a $100 MIR. ($250 + Tax). They have a smaller customer base than MetroPCS, at this time. So if it's released for that price on MertroPCS without the MIR it would be on par with the price of the phones they have out now. Let's see how much MORE they try to $queeze out of us.

I doubt that.
I bet there's a contract.

Listen up ya mike28 sent me this and it seems theres a chance the price of the GS3 will be less than $600 and more like $528

Ting now accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S III | PhoneDog

althought those prices are being directed towards sprint theres a chance that we might get that deal as well .

Looks like the list of U.S. operators selling the Samsung Galaxy S III has grown once again. Ting, a Sprint MVNO, has reached out to tell us that it's now accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S III, which it'll offer in Marble White and Pebble Blue in both 16GB and 32GB sizes. The devices are expected to ship in three to six weeks. As for pricing, the 16GB models cost $529, while the more capacious 32GB versions are $579. If you need more incentive to pre-order, Ting says that it's going to select two GSIII pre-orders of the first two hundred and refund the price to those two buyers.

I'd actually heard of Ting on another forum. I'm kinda surprised that they'll be getting the S3 so soon.

The international version is actually the one with 1gb and the quad core processor. We get 2gb and the dual core.
well maybe ur on to something and again i agree with u these people better not be pulling a fast one on us.

Im loving this but have a strong feeling that metropcs will downgrade it big time... Probably 2.3 GB instead of 4.0 ICS

Dont even worry about that we got devs that tell us its 100% upgradable even if it dosnt come with ics which it will but they told me that once gs3 is in their posession cm10 will be ready for porting aka modded jellybean 4.1 wooot :D

I really doubt metroPCS will water the SIII down. Samsung is trying to change their image and having a dumbed down SIII will only hurt it. It's their flagship phone. I doubt they will allow any company to water it down.

Yes you are right let's just wait we won't be disappointed

It would be one thing if it said they were getting the quad core because it would mean they somehow got the international version.

If they @$#? With the specs and capabilities of this phone in any way I'm not getting this phone and I'm sticking with my connect.

Oh phew ...thanks cant wait for the s3 n cm10

I was going to upgrade my phone this month to a 4g phone on metro. Now I am thinking I should just wait another month and see what comes out between now and then.

Really want an s3 but I'm still in hs and my income is limited. Plus I'm trying to buy a gtx660-ti and that's going to be around $300. Plus the nexus 7 is going to cost me a bit of cash. So until I get those two I'll keep my esteem as long as possible.
