I don't know lol but I trust its coming to metro. Except it being watered down by a bit doesn't bother me at all. Just curious to know about the color options. :3

please correct me if im wrong but the lightray wasnt being announced outside of rumored sources until a month before it was released. same thing for the connect back in march.

our inside source says the phone will be released between october and december which means we wont get official reports on it until september at the earliest and november at the latest. the time frame for release is 2 to 4 months away whicb means if we follow the trend of how metro phones are announced, we wont start hearing about it officially for a month to 3 months from now depending when they actually release it on metro.

The single voice over LTE handset, the LG Connect, is available at one store in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Customers who go to that one store and buy that one handset, which costs $250, will send and receive voice calls over MetroPCS

well the military had mobile shyt lol, none of us on the street did. Hell I was happy to have a Tandy when I was 15 lol

I look back and remember how excited I was to upgrade from the Commodore PET to the TRS-80 4P.
If I remember correctly, it had an 8 bit processor, scream'n at 2 MHz ! lol
Man... I'm NOT missing those "BASIC" days.

:p

my dad was installing computer systems back when i was like 3 years old. he had computers in his house that he worked on that were as big a car engine blocks haha.

2mhz??? And to think we are as high as 2.0ghz+

Yep. 2 - count 'em - 2 whole Megahertz. lol
Graphics were unheard of, as was pre-made software... you had to learn BASIC and/or DOS and write it yourself if you wanted your computer to be more than an expensive paperweight. ;)

Ah, the glow of that green screen... lol

I worked at a NAPA back in the early 80's and remember when they got the first parts/inventory computer system... it had a 580-some MHz processor, it's own cooling system, was as big as a refrigerator, and cost over $40,000.00
Again, no graphics... it was basically a glorified and over-priced calculator.

And now, we carry three to four times the processing power in our pocket, with twenty times the memory, and 114 X's less expensive.

Wild, huh? lol
