On a $500 an extra almost $50 that's a 9% increase & some bought the $150 motion just 2 months ago and I swear if I buy another phone anytime soon my lady WILL kill me
*Just confirmed yup she'll kill me
I went online acted like I was buying a phone it never gave me a tax maybe it will once it goes on the last step
Yeah once you're on your billing info it tell you your taxes before confirming the order.
So even though I don't see it it will eventually show up?
It's actually there on your left side of the screen after you put your billing adress, the site picks up your zip code and shows your tax and total while you're putting your credit card info.

I just play purchased a Motion from Metro.com and it DID charge me our 6% sales tax. (Marion county, Fl)
[EDIT, 2 day shipping=0, $149.00 + $8.94 sales tax=$157.94, right off of Metro.com]

I saw nothing next to taxes when I pretended I was gonna buy it, few minutes ago.
Why do you think other carriers make you sign a contract and the bill is so high, everyone pays that much not just metro customers.
Wouldn't it depend on where the product is coming from? Bc I know on eBay when I buy something, I only get taxed if the item is coming from my same state. Never bought a phone online, so I'm not really sure. We live in USA tho, so theres taxes everywhere :/
This is confusing :banghead:
lol hes right i just remembered this from my macroeconomics class i think lolSales tax is required to be collected if the vendor has a physical presence in that state.
Ie; Amazon has no physical facilities in Florida, therefore, they don't have to collect the tax. MetroPCS on the other hand, DOES have Corporate stores in Florida. It doesn't make sense that Metro would "waive" the taxes, THEY have to pay them and if you don't it comes out of their profit.

no they don't pay 500 bucks up front. they pay 200. so umm you sire are wrong.
but they are locked into a contract with a 350.00 etf when thwy upgrade of sign a new contract.. they end up paying for the phone over the 2years..the phone off contract for 16gb is 549 and 32gb is 599 for sprint, verizon, at&t and tmobile
Work hard, save your money.you must be rich
Metro's price is the lowest of any carrier at this point. I doubt it'll drop lower than it is now.I have the money for it... but I do know price will drop for a sale around nov. I will get mine then. To those who leave keep us non upgraders in the loop. We are like barnies world of lovvvvvve
If a business has a physical store in any state you pay taxes, and metro has 6 stores in my little town.is that confirmed for no tax when ordering online. thats what i was gonna do anyway plus the overnight shipping
