Galaxy s3 notifcations problems?

Hey guys, I've been tending to notice a notification problem on my Galaxy s3. Whenever I've been texting someone and I would have to go charge my phone, I come back and turn on my phone and the time of the message pops up on my notifications bar as the time I first turned on my phone, and this happens with other apps that have notifications. Is there anything I can do for it to show me for instance sent 14 minutes ago instead of it being sent 14 minutes ago and pops up to my at the current time. Thanks very greatly! :)

I'm not sure I follow you....are you wanting the time displayed as "sent at 12:01" instead of "sent 14 minutes ago"? (which would be 12:01 for example)

I looked and can't find an option for doing that. You could try a different MMS app such as Go SMS or Handcent. One of those should have what you're looking for. :)

You are correct MP about GoSmS! It says the time that the message was sent...not "sent 14.543 minutes ago" :p
@Eagles--try GoSmsPro.....it's free and better than stock imo. :)

Not really just messaging, but other notifications. Whenever I turn my phone on after being charged, I get the notifications and on my notifications tab the time pops up as the current time, so they could've sent me a message 14 hours ago and it'll pop up as current time, instead of 14 hours ago...

It is showing the time received. If the phone is off and you turn it on, that is when it is received as it can not receive it with it turned off. Can not change that except to leave the phone on while charging. On while charging will not hurt/damage anything.

@10 Eagles--I agree with GT:) While I don't have your issue, probably because my phone is on 24/7, and as GT said, it won't hurt to leave it on while charging.
