i would consider a 1 series...actually maybe i should look into those as well. thanks for reminding me those exist
i honestly dont like hatchbacks. new gti's are pretty quick, but styling wise its not for me.
Not real familar w/ these cars to be honest, as I've been a Honda / Acura guy my whole life.
Have you looked at the Acura ILX ?
i looked at the ILX, looks like a great commuter car, but not for me. im still kind of young ish ( 26 ) so i want something sporty ish. preferbly with a manual transmission.

It's funny you say this b/c you ( your age ) are the person / people Acura is trying to get to purchase this car. It's underpowered any way.

1-series are real nice, especially the 135i - they did a nice job bringing down the price on those to make them affordable

there is no way ( at least not in NYC ) will the ILX attract anyone from my age group lol.
the only car we r interested in is the nsx xD
my pops had a legend and an RL. he was an acura fanatic. loved those cars. smooth luxurious rides.

yea im not into whole slammed look. most ill do is 1 1/2 inch. my s5 is dropped just that and i can still daily drive it without destroying anything
HAHA I don't drive at that height, actually I can't. My subframe and exhaust hangers are laying on the ground. I've tried to drive that low and all I do is drag stuff and leave marks on the ground. I do drive really (stupid low) sometimes though. Below is before I was on air suspension and drove daily this low.

i have no choice, thats the only highway i use :/ and the belt parkway is not any better...
about a month ago i hit a manhole on the belt with my g sedan and i broke a stud off my wheel hub. car was vibrating like crazy until i pulled over and figured out why. very scary.
