I wanted to make sure I posted my 3,000th post in the best thread at AF.
Just wanted to thank you guys for making this thread the great place that it is. No matter how crappy it can get out there in the real world, I know I can always come in here for a good laugh & leave w/ a smile on my face. So thanks again for being the great people that you are. I'm right there with ya bud! Only 7 hours to go.
Na mate, I was training a new guy on weds-Thurs, I would normally be on nights from tonight, but me n him swapped for the best, so this week I just do 7 days. Works for me cus then I'm actually alive this coming weds, as opposed to finishing work at 6am and being up for 30+ hours.
Anyways, how are you pup?

A little insomnia this morning. Been up since 4:00 AM. Gotta take the little man to Karate this morning then heading out to go apple picking. Looking forward to that.

What varieties are ready? I used to do quite a bit when I lived in upstate NY and coincidentally it was my first job working at an orchard in MA. Flying Cloud was the name. Their apple cranberry pie was so friggin delicious. Mmmmmm. Got one every year for Thanksgiving.

All apples are ready due to the mild winter last year and the hot summer. We usually go to Brookfield Orchards. It is more like a family farm and they have all the varieties. Oh, and their apple dumplings are a tradition in our house.
