Oh, thanks, let's see who helps you guys start another watering hole:rolleyes:

Ah......come on PUP
Since your promotion, you are well , let's just say..... a rare honorary member. Your present is required elsewhere and we are glad when you show up..... but, let's discuss another whanyway since Treb is going all "Note 2" on us!

Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 - Full phone specifications

Quad Core my brother ;)

Why you leavin' big red ?

Super jelly on the quad!!!!! Didn't know they had figured out how to make the quad Exinos work with LTE.

Locked bootloaders and poor signal experience with Gnex. If your gonna handcuff my device you better have the best connection on the planet. My recent experience has lead me to believe that CDMA and LTE don't play well together all the time.

So if your taking my unlimited, locking down my phone, and your connection no longer outshines the competition.... I'm gone:)

Do you have signal issues w/ your S3 ?

Nothing obscene... but it's not the best holding 3g signals in low 4g areas. Bounces back and forth. Doesn't have as good a 3g signal as my Dinc did. Main complant is the locked/encrypted bootloader and delayed updates.

Once ATT LTE goes live in Denver I'm gone.

I was able to easily scratch off the Verizon logo on my Bionic. Perhaps you can do it on the Note 2.

This ought to take care of that pesky logo:

Why wait? I have gotten around 8mbps downloads at times, but mostly it hovers around 3. Still not bad and better then a bouncy signal. Not to say mine dont bounce, its much better then verizon and the nexus was. *shutters*

I get ~30mbps down. GS3 is much better than nexus and Gnex has been much improved with recent updates.

Thats pretty good. I still say its my area and verizon did not get along too well. Once in a blue moon I would hit insane speeds, but it was fleeting. Most of the time my phone was bouncing.

Lets see how Code Name Android 3.6.6 does :)

Crud. I forgot to flash titanium.

It did not flash the gapps package. Wonder what went wrong....

This whole business is getting annoying. Really...

@ Treb... just traded for B. Tate. Gave up P. Thomas and James Jones. Was gonna cut PT so essentially just jones. Might have over paid but if Foster gets hurt or if they sit him once they lock up the playoffs I have insurance. I picked up B. Wells to stash as he should be back in a few weeks.

Okay, who is running what rom on their S3?

I finally got the Gapps package downloaded with out an error message and the phone is backed up, all I need to do is wipe and install everything...

I am running CNA 3.6.0. I got 3.6.5 (and 3.6.6) downloaded, but not sure if they are stable.

Have you even tried the Synergy train yet? Lol. I know I've mentioned it a couple of times. Not to beat a dead horse, but if your a nightly lover, they do offer nightly updates for the brave and front-line feature testers, but they also mark their most stable builds for you to download as your daily drivers.

I can tell you that my current version of Synergy ROM (which I'll grab for you if you wanna try it, although I am sure the latest stable is even better) is fantastic. Battery life, speed, reception, call clarity, stability, are all top notch. Force closes are exceedingly few and far between, and I use the crap out of multitasking, camera, video, texting, and - like you - WORDS WITH FRIENDS!! (hey, I need to add you so WE can play against each other. :D)

Anyways, I've tried a couple other ROMs, but Synergy is the one I've had the best luck with, features/stability/battery life - wise.

On a little side note, I am actually decently impressed with the new iPod Grande ... err... iPad MINI? Oops, I capitalized the MINI like I do for my MINI Cooper S. A mere electronic device is certainly not worthy of all caps.

Jokes aside, it's actually reasonably priced by my metrics, and I'm no Apple iZealot. I'm quite happy with my S3.

CodeName (which was the first ROM I tried to use as a daily driver on my S3) is like a caveman's ROM compared to Synergy. They started out real strong on the S3, and it's still a decent ROM, and there's NOTHING wrong with cavemen!! They are great! But Synergy has so far outpaced them in stability, features, integration, and dev support that it's not even a fair fight.

I wouldn't touch CodeName right now. Much better ROMs out there in my opinion.
