Groan...

Called in early to work this morning. Usually happens when I stay up really late. At least I get off a little earlier, hopefully avoiding the trick or treaters.

Looks like Samsung is turning into Motorola.

The S3
The S3 with more colors (brown and black).
The note II
The S3 mini
The Premier

How long before other colors come out to the Premier, S3mini, note II? How long before something else comes out?

Pretty standard stuff, apart from the colours, the Galaxy S had a mini, or was it the S2 that had a mini ... but yea, its not like its the first time they have done it.

This apple fusion drive thing has me scratching head. Looks like its SSD + Standard HDD but in a special raid configuration. The SSD acts as a speedy cache and bridge to the standard hard drive. Looks like you need to order the thing at the time you order the mini, or there is a chip on board that activates something in the bios to use the fusion drive.

I wonder if a standard SSD + HDD will work now. The idea is what I am doing on my desk top, SSD holding programs and OS and another 2TB drive holding my data.

Hey there, Having trouble sending a gif from my gallery by regualr mms...I tried sending it to another galaxy s3 but the reciptant can't view it as a gif only a pic...can someone tell me how to send it where recipitant can view as play mode and not pic?

Trying something out

Looks like there is nasty stuff you can do in terminal like change file permissions which could render the device useless.

Changing file permissions alone won't damage anything, however, making critical files accessible and then changing them manually (say maybe the build.prop file among loads of others) could damage the OS and then you'd need to re-flash or restore a backup.
