Happy birthday, K'lin!!


Sorry for posting so late in the night. I just got back and with some major jet lag .... ugh! Had a nice red-eye flight. The funeral was simple, short, and beautiful, just the way Grandma would've wanted, I think.

I am sad to leave my family that lives in Hawaii, and sad that Grandma wasn't there to see us (although I know she was in spirit!), but I'm glad to be home with my wife and kids. Glad to check back in with y'all too! Missed all you silly waterholers.

I am playing receptionist today and tomorrow for the hair salon I go to. Their usual woman has jury duty (blech) so they asked if I wanted to earn extra cash. Yay!

Extra money is always great! Yipppppeeee. I'm at the dentist, then headed home to cook supper.
 
I dislike going to the dentist but I suppose its a necessary evil in life. What're we having for dinner tonight? Is it one of the yummy things from Pinterest?

I hear you there! Ugh. I have to go to the dentist again. I have had to have a filling drilled out and put in again a second time. Now, even after the second try, it's hurting again whenever I put pressure on that tooth, and it's a major molar on the left side of my mouth. I have had to eat one-sided for a couple weeks now, trying to see if it will just get better.

I don't want him to have to drill the tooth again and fill it again, only to have the same problem ... again.
 
So..... we are kicking butt tonight eh? All good, I am write good at it lol.....

Grilled cheese with caramelized onions. Holy moly! Had to throw in some tomato soup for good measure. Delish!
 
Sounds great, K'lin. I'm just tucking into a sammy from Potbelly's. Waiting for the lady to come home.
Picked up some more stuff for Saturday as we're putting together brunch for a crowd. Don't have a working oven (just toaster oven) so a bit limited.
So far:
-Waffles (we have a waffle maker)
-Cheese plate (okay weird, but at least nibbling food)
-Meatballs (friend is bringing these)
-Frittata (going to attempt this solely on the stove top, flip it and all)
Plenty of mimosas and what not. I think she's bring fixins for glug, her winter time favorite.
Can't wait!
 
You know, I've tried to make three posts on this forum today, and none of them have appeared (until this one!). I suspect that could be part of the low post cause of late...
 
K'lin, are you rooted? I wouldn't take an OTA if so.
Not sure if you have to do through Kies to get the update (I'm not too knowledgeable on Samsungs). Hopefully you'll get it soon!
PS. I'm happily sitting on 4.2.1 ;)

Yes I'm stock rooted. And if I don't get it I'm going back to stock!
