Morning folks !!!

Looks like there is plenty of coffee left :p ( Thanks X )

Hope everyone has a great one :thumb:

The HTC One is a 4 MP camera, but at a larger size per pixel than anything else out there, and higher light sensitivity. It also shoots HDR video. And not only has front facing speakers said to get quite loud, it has dual membranes on both microphones so that you actually record things like a live band and not have the mics crap out on you.

Almost every metric, down to its 32/64 GB storage option is double every measure on its predecessor One X.

I don't know about the SGS4, we'll know that soon enough, but the One is pretty darn impressive.

I don't think that doubling everything is incremental. If it is, then it's far from the incremental of that other.

As for the Motorola X, there was an official confirmation from Google that the rumor mill was wrong about it, it's not supposed to be the next big thing as far as they're concerned. They had an 18-month design and production pipeline to empty due to Motorola contracts. If true, that puts November as the soonest we can expect to see Google designs in their phones.

Looking back into those HTC One Specs :)

Is that an innuendo?

Yes ;)

So yeah, the HTC one camera is only 4mp and that is a good thing. The HDR video clip I seen was... well... not what I expected. Perhaps I am just asking for too much out of a multitool kit of a device that fits in my pocket.

What is going on with me lately!? I have turned into an android cynic!

Perhaps my needs have evolved or my niche uses alienate me from general users? Perhaps I am just asking too much out of my devices, you know, having my cake and eating it too...

Maybe it is just an over saturation of devices!?

So, anyone here interested in the S IV? Any potential upgraders here?

I am probably sitting this one out.

It's going to have to be pretty bad a$$ for me to part ways w/ my Note 2, but of course I will consider it.

Come on AJ, you know your not going to sit this one out. ;)

Geez, talk about peer pressure :p

I'll be watching the announcement & will have my decision made shortly there after. While it was easy making the decision to part w/ my DROID Charge & S3, parting w/ the Note 2 will be a tough call. But again never say never. The Note 3 is not far away either so I'd be happy if I keep my Note 2 until then. Stay tuned.....

Ahhh...either your mumbling or choking on your spaghetti :D

Neither just yet, will be cooking in about an hour ;)

I've heard mixed reviews on that movie. Is it any good?

Treb did you save me any wrapper cheese bud?

It's ok, I suppose, I guess it's more relevant to the American market as it's all about some devious plot to exfil 6 Americans from their Iranian embassy. It's not the kind of thing I'd bother watching twice, same as with Munich.

TBH the Note 2 wasn't 'that' much of a better spec as the S3 and the S4 doesn't sound like 'that' much of an improvement over the Note 2.

All in all, my S3 still has the capacity and power to do what I need and then some.

Imo It's only worth upgrading if :

A) Your constantly annoyed at your current phone because it's incapable of satisfying your needs

B) You have more money than sense

C) Your a brat that just had to have the latest and greatest whatever the cost

Either way, knock yaself out.

Careful my love, or I'll have to really spice up your up spaghetti ;)

When it comes to switching phones...to each his own :)

The phones are zombies and want my braiiiiiins!

Seriously though, I asked if anyone was updating to the S IV and I also mentioned I was likely going to sit this one out. This makes me have "more money then sense" and "needing the latest and greatest", how!?

Either way, I will knock myself out :)

Nothing I said was aimed and any one specific person, just a generalised opinion.
