On an entirely different note, did anyone see Oblivion yet? Thought it was ok, for a cruise flick.

I often think about how all this tech has the potential to distract us from the lives happening before our eyes. In times like these I am so very grateful, however, for the connection it brings.

I have made a home here on AF. You guys are a part of that home. Thank you for showing up in your own lives everyday so that you may show up in mine (on the interwebs) and have that same impact.

I humbled to have you all as friends.

All these emotions are just too much.

Yeah, it was good, a little long and a tad predictable near the end, but still enjoyable. Not sure it was worth the hype, though.

*ponders throwing a grilling pool party* :D

Maybe I'm just odd, (but in a frankly honest keep nd of way) but yesterday's events just kind of, spur me on, to make the most of what I've got, I guess like facing fear and telling it 'metaphorically' where to go and "look, you won't intimidate us, we aint scared of you" kinda thing. Maybe that's just the good ole English spirit showing through.

/end mindless rambling. Who knew I could be 'deep' this early in the morning :eek:

@Treb, not had a chance to get around to Lincoln yet, but I'm in my transition from days to nights after today, so might watch it tonight. Will see, Miss X has her second exam today, so going out for dinner tonight.
