Overtime?

Good morning folks!

Yeah, the guy who was due to come into work and relieve me didn't turn up, he had issues trying to avoid a car on the way in and ended up in A&E, just a cut above his eyebrow, but deep, few stitches and sent home.

I'm liking the new Play Store except now it sets to auto-update or not - for everything.

I had some apps where the older versions worked for me, not the new ones.

Fortunately I had backups.

This fixed something that wasn't broken and now I'm back to manually updating lots of apps just to keep a few static.

Otherwise, it seems like a big step up to me.

So... who is jumping ship to an HTC One or an S4?

I am still good on my note 2 but if a 32gb nexus 4 comes out with LTE I may pick one up to get my custom rom one :)

HTC One : Not interested ( Samsung fanboy remember :p ).

S4 : I'll go by & check it out once it hits store, but it's a 99.9% I won't get it.

For folks that already have an S3 or Note 2 there really is no reason to jump on the S4 bandwagon IMO.

My nexus 7 having issues again!

This is a complete fail. Sitting here, battery in the blue, checked the radar, exited the app, sat the device down, a bit later it shuts down due to dead battery. It was NOT in the red an hour earlier.

Plug it it, backlight comes on. Nothing else. Unplug, try again. Same thing. Hold down power button for 30seconds, it turns off. I power it back up. It boots at the google logo and does the same thing.

Rinse and repeat. Now, the LCD is screwed up showing a banding pattern.

Good thing I had nothing important on this thing.

I give up.

I am just going to write the thing off as a loss. Second time this has happened.

Sorry for venting :(

In the last ten years I have never damaged or lost a cell phone. Until I got a GS3. In December I dropped my GS3 in snow and had to replace it. Today I lost my replacement GS3 on the mountain in Vail:( :eviltongue:

Sorry for the bad luck Trent.

Thank goodness for insurance I guess.

Do you use Verizon insurance or Squaretrade ?

This week has been like a horrible nightmare that our entire country can't wake up from :(
